Precautions for using heavy shelves in warehouse

The use of shelves can store a large number of goods and products of some companies. When used, it can improve the use area of the warehouse, so as to ensure good use effect. Its use can even increase the original storage area by three to four times, with obvious use advantages. When using shelves, we need to pay attention to some basic factors to prevent some adverse consequences. Next, let's take a look. 


1. Do not be overweight. There is more than 100mm space between the goods on the warehouse shelf and the tray. Shelves of different specifications are designed and made according to weight. Therefore, the weight of goods placed on the shelf needs to be within the allowable weight of the shelf. Please mark the weight limit on the shelf for the goods in the warehouse. 


2. Do not use extra wide dimensions. This refers to the size of the card. The size of the commonly used card is between 0.8m and 1.2m. The length of the beam of the heavy beam shelf is generally 2.5m. It can be designed according to the width of two cards, or medium-sized shelves can be used. If the card board used is not the target, or the size of the goods placed on it exceeds 1.2m, the hard plug may hit the column when placing luggage on the shelf. 


3. Do not collide or deform. The easily damaged parts of warehouse shelves are passages and corner columns. It usually deforms due to the collision of forklift. The shelf supplier shall provide supporting anti-collision columns according to different shelves, channel widths and transportation tools. The anti-collision barrier is set at the channel position, and the installation of anti-collision column plays a very important role in protecting the shed column.
